I watched this movie yesterday in the comfort of my own home , I think its a great movie that the whole family will enjoy, If your expecting this version to be like the original its not, this movie actually has a plot unlike the original which mainly showed you beautiful locations from around the world (pretty much a travel movie).In the original, Fogg is an retentive time watcher, and his sidekick little more than the action and hands behind his performance.The new version has Fogg as an inventor with a variety of rather crazy and funny inventions, with Chan's character as a good side kick type.
You know that it has Jackie Chan in it and what to you get with Jackie Chan in it "Fight Scenes" now the scenes are just typical Chan fight scenes.It all boils down to if you are a Chan fan or not. If your not a big Chan fan you might want to stay away because there is alot of his fighting in this movie.
If your a fan of the original you probably wont like the remake and be mad from all the changes but for being 90minutes long (1hr30min) this movie moves along fast and will make you laugh.
I'd give it a 8/10
