This movie has most of the same qualities as the old 1976 version. Some new things were added, including a kid in a wheelchair. But the excessive cursing and bad behavior by both the coach and the kids. Another change is Mr. Buttermaker is a bug-killer instead of a pool cleaner. Director Richard Linklater (School of Rock, Before the Sunset) hits homeruns with Bad News Bears.
