Bring it on Again
Review by: Gayle

They’re bringing the moves, they’re bringing the grooves.

As a former cheerleader in high school, freshman Whittier Smith intends to relive her passion for cheerleading once again in college. And she can hardly believe that her cheerleading captain, Tina, has set her sights on her having the coveted title of becoming the head cheerleader the nest year. It’s definitely a dream come true for her- the face on posters in lockers, having exchange students doing her homework… But Whittier has to make some ‘sacrifices’- she has to do everything that pleases Tina, even if it means breaking up with her boyfriend Derek.

But it all seemed too much for Whittier to handle when Tina forces her to choose between her best friend Monica and cheerleading and she realises that it that being the next cheerleading captain isn’t worth it and quits the team with Monica. Nevertheless, she still bears the passion for cheerleading and decides to form her own squad, with Monica’s help of course.

As if coming up with her own team isn’t hard enough, she has a team of outcasts from clubs and societies. Plus, she has to beat the varsity squad, the squad she was formally in, to make it to the national championships.

And not to mention that she has to get Derek back.

Bring It On Again was rather dull and raw as compared to the other BIO movies. It was really hard to believe that Whittier actually managed to create the ultimate cheerleading squad of people who have absolutely no idea about cheerleading in 3 days. From freaks to cheerleaders… in 3 days? I don’t think so. Plus, the storyline was an imitation of the first BIO. I was really unimpressed with this Bring It On version.
