I've never been a Bond fan, though I've seen a number of the films. All the recent films have been able to earn from me is a number of eye rolls and yawns, but not Casino Royale!
Despite the controversy in his casting; Craig Davis is a perfect Bond. He portrays the character with just the right amount of cool, confidence, vulnerability and heart. Heart is a vital part of the Casino Royale movie which actually features a great romance, rather then just 'Bond Girls'.
The film is action packed. I constantly found myself holding my breath and gripping the armrests of my seat (but in a good way). The scenery is stunning with settings in the Bahamas, Venice, Italy and England.
All in all, Casino Royale is a stunning film! One of my favorite actions films of all time. A must see!
