Staring: Jennifer Garner, Timothy Olyphant, Kevin Smith and Sam Jaeger
After her fiancé dies, Gray Wheeler (Jennifer Garner) is faced with the fact that everyone has secrets. She finds comfort of his friends to help her through these hard times.
Three of his friends, cheerful and comedic Sam (Kevin Smith), franticly responsible Dennis (Sam Jaeger) and Fritz (Timothy Olyphant), a playboy who Gray thought was the least reliable person in the world.
Gray finds out the things she never imaged her fiancé did. She finds comfort in Fritz and is drawn to him in ways she never expected.
Catch & Release is a romantic comedy that delivers great punch lines and is a great date movie. Jennifer Garner delivers in a fine appearance, although her role in this film seems a little too similar to her role in 13 Going on 30. Timothy Olyphant did a good job portraying a ‘playboy’ but then showing his true colors in the end. Kevin Smith also delivered laughable jokes and quirky facial expressions.
Catch & Release is a good movie, especially if you are in for a chick flick.
