Chasing Liberty
Review by: Ellie

Based on the teen novel of the same name, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen follows Mary "Lola" Steppe (Lindsay Lohan), a newly displaced teen, whose divorced mother has relocated from the trendy life of New York City to the urban sprawl of Dellwood, New Jersey. Out of place in the surburban town, Lola sets her sights on the lead in the school play while fantasizing about her favorite rock group and how her life should be. When she learns that her favorite rock group is disbanding and is going to put on their final farewell concert in New York City, Lola pulls out all the stops to make it to the concert and meet the lead singer, Stu Wolff (Adam Garcia).

I thought the movie wasn't that bad. I mean bits of it were childish but the acting was quite good-especially Lindsay Lohan. She was great at the acting and did a great job with the crying scenes. The music was good too-very catchy songs which fitted in well with the film. Im sure if your a fan of Drama,Theater you'll like this film. I would reccomend this film to a girl and mabey even to a guy. Overall I would rate this film 3/5.
