Duplex
Review by: Kat

A married couple move into their dream apartment only to find the elderly woman, Mrs. Connoly, living in the apartment upstairs is the neighbor from hell. They set out trying to make her move out but when their intent turns to murder attempts what will be the result?

If you're easily frustrated this isn't the film for you. You sympathize with the experiences of the characters and even though some of the things they do to the old woman are wrong you can still relate to their frustration.

There are a couple of hilerious moments most of which you see coming.

The lead performances are good, though Drew Barrymoore seemed a little detached. Eileen Essell as Mrs. Connoly is fantastic.

There is a cool twist in the film. Though I won't tell you what.

Worth checking out if you're into these types of comedies.
