Fast and Furious
Review by: Amanda

Fast & Furious, the fourth in the high-octane series is fantastic. From the fast-paced oil hijacking opening the movie to the final teasing scene (I won't spoil it), this is one ride you want to be on.

This movie reunited Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Connor(Paul Walker). Dom is hiding out from the law who is determined to see him arrested for his many indiscretions. Brian works for the FBI, currently trying to take down a Colombian drug dealer. Brian's time on the streets in earlier movies helps him solve problems quicker than other agents and he seems to be somewhat respected. As the movie grows closer Dom is determined to avenge his girlfriend's death Letty (played by Michelle Rodriguez). Both he and Brian find a connection in Campos (John Ortiz) a man who is hiring drivers. He wants the best of the best and where better than these two boys? The movie really kicks into high gear from there.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are just as fantastic (and hot) as ever. I personally don't care for Michelle Rodriguez so it was nice to have her out of most of the movie but I do like Jordana Brewster (who plays Mia, Dom's sister and Brian's ex, ) and she had a much larger role this time around. The cars are fast, the cast is hot, and the plot is solid. (Last car reference I promise) I highly recommend taking this film out for a spin.

Review #2
Brian (Paul Walker) is back at work for the government, trying to catch the bad guys, but with the life he’s been living, he isn’t sure if he is a good guy or a bad guy anymore. Dom and Letty (Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez) have been living in South America, moving around and pulling jobs on unsuspecting gasoline transport vehicles. Mia, Dom’s sister, (Jordana Brewster) is back at home living a normal life. But everything turns on its head when Letty’s path crosses Brian’s investigation, bringing Dom home again to avenge her murder.

The fourth installment in the film franchise about living hard and driving fast has been touted as being the best of the series, and I have to agree. The film features the original four cast members reunited, kind of, in an effort to stop an extensive drug running operation. The story’s pretty solid, and the acting is decent. The car chases though, those are what really stand out. Fans of the original film, and maybe the not so great sequels, will have plenty of high speed chases and daring escapades to look forward to. I wouldn’t quite give it five stars or anything like that, but it is worth a rental.
