Georgia Rule
Review by: Kat

In this family: attitude doesn't skip a generation

Troubled teen; Rachel is sent to live with her grandmother Georgia when her alcoholic mother: Lilly, comes to her wits ends in dealing with her. Rachel shakes up the sleepy town with her 'Californian' ways and love for trouble but hiding beneath the confident and sexy exterior are some dark and painful secrets that could either tear the three women apart or bring them together for good.

Georgia Rule is a tragic story that manages to weave in a little humor and heart without insulting the basic plotline. With a gorgeous setting and some powerhouse performances the film is one to see.

Georgia Rule is a pleasant reminder that Lindsay Lohan isn't just famous for DUI's and cleavage - the girl can actually act. The standout role in this film would have to be Felicity Huffman who goes from strong, to heartbroken and hysterically drunk with such convincing changes in demeanor, speech and appearance.
