“Iron Man” was a pretty cool live-action, adventure, legendary Superhero movie. Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark (Iron Man) in the story of a billionaire businessman and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a disturbing weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Stark builds a high-technology suit of armor and escapes imprisonment. When he uncovers a dreadful plot with global implications, he vows to protect the world as Iron Man. The actors include: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man; Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts; Leslie Bibb as Reporter; Terrence Howard as Lieutenant Jim Rhodes; and Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stone. The Director is Jon Favreau.

“Iron Man” is a thrilling and a huge entertaining movie that may just be the coolest superhero adventure ever made. “Iron Man” became the first superhero whose superpowers were of his own invention. A few hints are made about what might be in store in “Iron Man 2” and beyond. It clearly shows how powerful Tony Stark, the CEO of Stark Industries is rich and a womanizing genius. He is absent from festivities in Las Vegas where he was supposed to get an award for his company’s service for Military Industrial Complex as country’s leading weapons producer. He is interested in impressing an attractive reporter (Leslie Bibb) with his Malibu estate. Stark’s assistant and admirer is Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). Soon after Stark arrives in Afghanistan, and gets injured, he is taken hostage by a militant group. Also Tony Stark demonstrates his invention, the Jericho Missile, for the benefit of U.S. military self-assurance. Terence Howard (Jim Rhodes) is a friend to Tony, and in some cases an enemy to Tony. Jeff Bridges is (co-worker Obadiah Stone) the bald, sinister advisor to Tony Stark who takes over his company during the kidnapping. He then makes himself a suit of armor made bigger and badder; to pound Iron Man. He soon becomes known as the Iron Monger, the nemesis of Iron Man.

Early May 2008 on MTV channel the Director Jon Favreau said that “CGI effects were avoided and shot scenes for real when possible.” I thought that seemed pretty cool. A few years ago “Spiderman,” “Superman,” and “Batman” movies were out in theaters. As it turns out, “Iron Man” has a lot more action scenes and cool special effects. Also “Iron Man” was similar to “Spiderman” because each hero made their own costume. “Iron Man” has great actors as well as awesome costumes.
