Madagascar
Review by: Christy

Madagascar has a handlefull of well-know voices such as Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer. It comes from the offices of DreamWorks Animation and is a computer-animated comedy.

Alex the lion, is the king of the zoo and loves the attention of visiting children and parents. His best friend Marty (the zebra), is curious of the outside world and is sick of being stuck in a cage. So, on his birthday he breaks free in search of a new life. Reluctantly his friends, Melman (the giraffe), Alex and Gloria (the hippo), follow him and by a mistake, are washed ashore on an island with no humans.

It's a cute film with occasional funny things but it becomes tiring and you could find yourself being bored. It desperately needs a bigger plot and climax. However, it's a movie you could see for a bit of amusement, but not for excitment or story.
