Millions Review
By Whitney

What would you do if you were a young British boy, and a few days before pounds were being traded in for new currency, a huge bag of them seemingly fell out of the sky and landed right next to you? When this happens to Damien, a kind and imaginative boy whose mother has just died, he tells his elder (financially adept) brother Anthony and their wildest dreams come true. But there's a catch--the money was intended for someone else, and he wants it back...and since he only has a few days to get it, he's willing to employ any method necessary.

"Millions" is the kind of movie that makes you want to cry one minute and laugh the next. Granted, there's probably more humor than drama, but this is a surprisingly poignant, touching story that isn't afraid to take chances with filmmaking and original writing, which is often rare with movies these days. It's hard not to enjoy this family friendly film.
