Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous
Review by: Alley
Rating: 1 Star

'Miss Congeniality 2" picks up where we last left off, with Agent Gracie Heart(Sandra Bullock) on her next mission after the Miss United States Pageant. She must go in undercover, and for some unclear reason seems to have to arrest these 4 housewives (can you say "Desperate Housewives rip-off? *rolls eyes*) or something like that, it's never made clear in the film. Some random woman yells "It's Gracie Heart", and these housewives obviously know they're after them. Needless to say, the assignment is a complete failure, and Gracie's boss promotes her to become the "New Face of the FBI" (umm...ok?) So against Gracie's will, she is once again transformed into some "Barbie FBI doll", and goes to interviews and such business. The only highlight of this film is the interview with Regis, and I won't spoil it by stating what happens.

There's also a new twist - Gracie is assigned with Sam Fuller(Regina King), who acts as a "bodyguard". The usual, predictable, boring, overused happens - They both hate each other, and, by the end of this movie, they are really good friends and become partners.

During the interview with Regis, Gracie and Cheryl (Heather Burns), aka Miss United States are re-united, only to be separated when (big shocker!) Cheryl is kidnapped.

Once again, it's Gracie's role to save her friend's life, and the rest is history.

Final words: A pathetic attempt for a sequel. Highly dissapointing.
