The Nativity Story
Review by: Kat
Some critics have labeled The Nativity Story as boring, I feel this is completely wrong and unfair. The film is stunningly beautiful, inspiring and emotional.
The sets are convincing recreations of a time long since past, the actors perfectly bring the characters to life; girls - You'll find yourself falling in love with the character of Joseph, perfectly portrayed by newcomer Oscar Isaac. Oscar nominated teenage actress Keisha Castle-Hughes does a good job of playing Mary, though some might say her portrayal of Mary's emotions is a little wooden, she manages to display the unwavering, gentle and quiet faith that Mary posessed.
All in all; The Nativity Story is a beautiful film, definitely the holiday film to see this Christmas!

I saw this movie last night and I adored it!!! It is the most accurate retelling of Jesus' birth I have ever seen. The only problem is that the wise men come when Jesus is two, Not the night He is born. I am sooo glad the movie business has been putting more Christian movies out like the Passion and the End of the Spear. The Nativity Story is another wonderful addition. I hope many people are inspired to learn more about Jesus, because he came to save the world from it's slavery to sin. A movie definitly worth seeing!!
