A troubled young man arrives in a new town, at a new High School and finds himself drawn to a mysterious girl and ultimately lured into an underground fight club. He finds a mentor in a mixed martial arts veteran and learns that everyone has their fight.

I was expecting a brain dead teenage boys action dream in this film and though there was still a lot of that involved in the story, I did enjoy the film a lot more then I expected. Granted, it’s mostly a cliché but there are some interesting characters, good back stories about forgiveness (especially when it comes to forgiving yourself) and moving on. The cast gave strong performances and I ultimately had a good time.

Check it out. Just don’t expect too much.
