Night at the Musem review

After constanty disappointing his son with failed career aspirations and evections; Larry Daley gets a job working as the night security guard at the Museum of Natural History. It starts out fine, a lazy job filling in the midnight hours - that is until a dinosaur skeleton demands to play fetch, an Easter Island statue request gum gum (dum dum) and the lions get hungry. Why? In this museum everything comes to life at night.

Night at the Museum is a refreshingly different film with a fun plotline, great special effects and humorous situations. Classic film legents Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke both have supporting roles in the film as former security guards (a detail I especially liked) and Ben Stiller is at his comedic best.

Definitely a film worth checking out.
