The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement
Review by Kat

Mia returns fresh out of college to prepare to take the Genovian crown only to find that their is a clause in Genovian law that states she must be married to rule. Mia must quickly find a fiance and marry within 30 days or forfeit the crown to Nicholas Devereaux, the man who is trying to steal her thrown but doing a better job at stealing her heart.

In Princess Diaries 2 the film veers 180 degree turn from the book series. Mia is now 21, Michael is gone (boo hoo) and the entire story is set in Genovia.

The story is so sweet it could give you cavities. Some scenes are too cheesy for words but if you go expecting this you're bound to enjoy yourself.

I love the character of Nicholas and his relationship with Mia, love-hate relationships are always fun.

You'll be disappointed if you anticipate a film as good as Princess Diaries but Mia is still as loveablr and clumsy as ever. Julie Andrews is back so what more could you want?

Check it out, you're bound to enjoy at least some of the film. This is sure to be the last leg of Mia's big screen story so come say good-bye.

A 'do see' if you're a fan of the original. Just hire it rather then buy it.
