Sahara is an infectious action film with humor, appealing characters and a breath taking African setting.

'Sexiest Man Alive' winner; Matthew McConaughy plays an overly confident and capable, intelligent lead, while Steve Zahn is the perfect unappreciated sidekick. Penelope Cruz does well as the compassionate doctor who doesn't succomb to the helpless woman film stereotype, regardless of the fact that she 'throws like a girl'

Sahara has the treasure hunting appeal of National Treasure while managing to escape to a more appealing, adventuresome setting.

Definitely worth checking out for lovers of action/mystery.
