Spiderman 2 Review
|
To start at the beginning the film begins with watercolour images from the first film, overlapped with blue and red webs. The effect is totally awesome and the best intro I've seen in a film since 'Catch me if you Can'
Spiderman 2 has a lot of dry humour that the first film lacked. It's not laughtrack/sitcom stuff but makes you laugh all the same. Peter is down on his luck and some of the exmaples used to illustrate this are hilerious!
I love the underlying theme of self-lessness that is in this film. Isn't that what being a hero is all aobut?
The characters are more developed, the film is more quirky and Spidy swinging through NYC is just as breathtaking as ever. The story has you enthralled the entire 2 hours.
I strongly stress this is not a film to take young and easily scared children too. Though there is little blood in fight sequences there is one scene that seems straight out of a horror film in just what is suggested as happening. I'd suggest getting the film on VHS or DVD and skipping that scene when young children are watching.
Overall an awesome summer blockbuster. Better then the first and I can't wait till the third!

First off this movie is alot better than the first it has great scenes that will make you want to cry, scenes that make you not want to move, this movie has it all.
Pretty much it's a continue of the first showing how spiderman has to deal with things to be spiderman and how it effects the people around him, then you got a crazy scientist trying to harness all the power of the sun and such.
I liked this movie alot, there was some stuff that I can't wait for a next movie for it's kinda like why can't they just make em all and release them at the same time but you know they can't do that. Even if you didn't like the first one completely you might like this one.
The kids would like this movie and so would the whole family.
My rating: 8/10
This Movie is better that first spider-man, I think that this is a movie for everyone, for every old.I think that is great You must see it - Iwona
