I am for starters a huge fan of Spider-Man. Not just the movies but of Spider-Man. Always has been my favorite superhero and he always will be. I have seen the other two movies a bunch of times and even saw the first twice in the theater and all in all I've probably watched them both over 100 times. I've been looking forward to this third installment for more than year now and when I saw the trailer for it last year I was so excited.

I went and saw the 3rd movie Friday opening day and I was just completely blown away. It was absolutely amazing. Everything from the battle sequences to the moments with Mary-Jane and Peter. It was just fantastic. I used to watch the cartoon as a kid and seeing Sandman and Venom come to life was just so cool. Topher Grace was amazing and actually the whole cast great from Tobey Maguie and Kirsten Dunst to James Franco.

This movie is well worth seeing not just once but probably a bunch of times. It has all the twists and turns on top of some great emotional scenes. I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch it again and again. I highly recommend the movie to anyone who has seen the other Spider-Man's and also anyone who loves those great action movies. Spider-Man is surely a hit and proves why he is the #1 superhero!

I had all kind of dramas trying to see this movie. First I actually walked into the wrong theatre, sat down and saw a minute of the middle of the film before realizing my watch was wrong and I'd actually arrived an hour earlier (a good reason to have people actually manning the theatres and taking your tickets...)

Somehow Spiderman 3 just didn't do it for me. It seemed a little on the longside and aspects of the story seemed disjointed and failed to flow together as well as they could. I definitely think Spiderman 2 will remain my favorite in the series.

Sure the film has some highlights. The special effects are great, especially with the character of sandman. Venom is an interesting character and problem and you do get a kick out of witnessing emo and oh so confident Peter Parker. The film has it's elements of tragedy so consider yourself forewarned.

Though I wasn't fond of it others still might enjoy it so I would still recommend Spiderman 3 to audiences. Spiderman 2 was just such a great film it's probably a little cruel to compare the two. Check out Spiderman 3 and decide for yourself.
