The Interpreter
Review by: Kat

The Interpreter is a fast paced political thriller that unfolds when an Interpreter, Silvia Broome (Nicole Kidman), at the United Nations Headquarters in New York overhears talk of an assasination. Asigned to protect her is FBI agent, Tobin Keller (Shaun Penn). But trust isn't easily brought.

My original plan was to see Robots but I ended up missing the start time by about 20 minutes. So resultingly I went an extremely different film. The Interpreter is a fantastic film. I normally stronly dislike Nicole Kidman but I must admit she pulled off her character perfectly. Shaun Penn was also fantastic, though playing a rather aloof character.

The story keeps you guessing the entire way through. You know who you want to trust but you don't know if you can.

The film raises some great points about loss and mourning. I'd say more but don't wish to give away anything.

Overall a fantastic filmgoing experiences that will keep you guessing till the very end!
