The Mist Reviews
Review by: Patricia Ruiz

A freak storm unleashes a species of blood-thirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole-up in a supermarket and fight for their lives. Synopsis from IMDb

This movie attracted my attention from the minute I saw its trailer. It seemed like a new thriller, a new invention I foresaw being a great thriller movie unlike most "thrillers". Well, I foresaw wrong. This was very much unlike any thriller I've ever seen.

The Mist is the kind of movie you sit through from start to end thinking: "This movie cannot get any worse." But it did, no only its crudeness and vague Old Testament Allusion. Science Fiction takes a hold of the movie and deforms it into a psychological wreck of a movie. It's not a particular "ahh, I'm scared kind of film" but it will definitely creep you up in the most random and weirdest ways.
